Wednseday's gonna be a pretty big day for me.
At Lunch, the Rosny College Acoustic Challenge is on. It's kind of a big deal around here. Every year, the competition opens to anyone in the school. It goes over two lunchtimes and I don't know when I'll be on. The competition isn't the huge part. It's really just a casual place to showcase the talent. The scary part is just getting all my songs finalised. I haven't completed all the lyrics to my songs yet, or decided which 'tunes I'll do even.
The one definite song I'll be doing is below this post. I'm taking a big risk by playing this song because it's actually portraying my emotions and I know that'll show through in the performance. I'm just not sure if I'm ready to willingly show myself infront of the school.
I'll post the other song lyrics when I've completed them.
In other news, I'm taking up writing couplets in response to pictures. Here's my first attempt:
The flash of green at dawn does not speak morning
It says eternal night, and mourning
You can click on the couplet to visit the picture.
Goodbye now!

Lonely
14 hours, 13 days
It still feels wasted
Stumblin' 'round in grey haze
Through halls and mazes
Weld the shackles, play the keys
This is my routine
A latchkey lock stares right through me
Iron Irony
Lonely, Lonely
I'm so Lonely, Lonely
These tramps won't forget my rhymes
I beg, but nothing
Agoraphobia in my eyes
I'm sure it's telling
Solitary confinement
Seemed like an ideal
But you can't bounce concepts and dreams
Off walls and windows
Lonely, Lonely
I'm so Lonely, Lonely
Though the owls fly at 3
This wisdoms heavy
Charisma yes, savvy nay
I'm not accoustomed
Damn this arbitrary choir
One person's many
Is this what they call
Life worth living?
Lonely, Lonely
I'm so Lonely, Lonely
Lonely, Lonely
I'm so Lonely, Lonely
It still feels wasted
Stumblin' 'round in grey haze
Through halls and mazes
Weld the shackles, play the keys
This is my routine
A latchkey lock stares right through me
Iron Irony
Lonely, Lonely
I'm so Lonely, Lonely
These tramps won't forget my rhymes

Lonely, Lonely
I'm so Lonely, Lonely
Lonely, Lonely
I'm so Lonely, Lonely
In Critique Of Criticism
Go for it. Really.
Have a thought about anything? I love you to share it.
Just leave a comment. I'll try to respond.
I mean, I'm doing a pre-tertiary subject. I need all the critique I can get, you guys.

And Yet You Remain...
An Alien, Organic Form
Why are you here?
Enclosed in hues not warm
Why are you here?
Semi-Aquatic plant you’ve dove
Why are you here?
Floated to lush mangrove
Why are you here?
You fluoro-orange buds converse with one another
But give you away before they even flower
Your Flower Seeds will fall and float
You could move if you wanted.
Cling to fish, wave or boat
You could move if you wanted.
Absorbing water to their head
You could move if you wanted.
Heavy, to the river’s bed
The seeds do have control over where they go
But you have journeyed to this mangrove
Happy: you are not
You know you don’t belong.
Little: what you have got
You know you don’t belong.
Choking: in shallows here
You know you don’t belong.
Murky: is water near
You know you don’t belong.
And yet, you are here
Why are you here?
Enclosed in hues not warm
Why are you here?
Semi-Aquatic plant you’ve dove
Why are you here?
Floated to lush mangrove
Why are you here?
You fluoro-orange buds converse with one another

Little: what you have got
You know you don’t belong.
Choking: in shallows here
You know you don’t belong.

You know you don’t belong.
And yet, you are here
Why?
